We obtained an extraordinary amount of archival photographs of Martha throughout her life. The contact sheet graphics were inspired by vintage film reels, helping us look back at different stages of her life.
The animation was inspired by the real-life movements of using a microfiche or view master. Some test versions of this graphic involved various levels of parallax, using Photoshop and depth maps.
